Camp WPW’s small group environment encourages the development
and enjoyment of God’s great gift of friends.
the surprise of new and old friends in this year’s camp.
Camp is the greatest place to establish life long friendships.
Talk to your camper about these friendship opportunities. The
staff will encourage the development of these social skills and
will always strive to be alert to your child’s needs. We
encourage parents to praise your campers for their newfound
friendships. When you pick up your child, remember to ask “Did
you make a new friend today?” We look forward to hearing
about your Growing Friendships.
Your camper may list one or more friends (same
grade level) for staff consideration to be together. The friends
requested must also request your camper. Applications must be
received within one week of each other, and by the end of February.
Others will be honored as possible. We will do our best to honor
these requests. See website for more information on "friends."
Will We Do At Camp WPW
This summer at camp we will touch
the sky with our fingertips.
We will feel the wind as we run and play
and smell the flowers and the fresh air.
will hear the songs of the birds
and the cries of the whip-poor-will.
will see our friends, test our talents,
and try our wings.
will taste life in the great out-of-doors.
