FRIENDS---FRIENDS---FRIENDS

Camp W-PW’s small group environment encourages the development and enjoyment of God’s great gift of friends. This year’s camp theme will focus on the gift of friends and is entitled “Make a Friend Today!” While children entering five-year kindergarten may request a friend of same grade level to be with in the small group, other campers may still discover favorite old friends in their group as well as new ones. This is due to each grade level having limited number of groups.

Discover the surprise of new and old friends in this year’s camp. Camp is the greatest place to establish life long friendships. Talk to your camper about these friendship opportunities. The staff will encourage the development of these social skills and will always strive to be alert to your child’s needs. As parents, we encourage your praise to campers for their newfound friendships. When you pick up your child, remember to ask “Did you make a new friend today?” We look forward to hearing about your Growing Friendships.

What Will We Do At Camp WPW

This summer at camp we will touch
the sky with our fingertips.

We will feel the wind as we run and play
and smell the flowers and the fresh air.

We will hear the songs of the birds
and the cries of the whip-poor-will.

We will see our friends, test our talents,
and try our wings.

We will taste life in the great out-of-doors.
